This month's guest artists: Federico Muelas and Merche Blasco
Terry Dame's Weird Wednesdays continues with the fall edition. This month features two guest weirdos coincidentally both from Spain, thus we are dubbing October "weird Spaniard Month". I will be presenting a new collaborative work with visual and multi-media artist Federico Muelas call SonicGraphite/2B. This interactive performance piece allows participants to interact with specially created graphite bars that trigger sounds when used to draw. Allowing the artist to literally draw music and sound and created unique compositions based on drawing. I have invited several guest artists to participate in the drawing so this promises to be an amazing evening. Also performing will be artist and technologist Merche Blasco. Merche will be performing live set with her original gestural controllers and optical Theremin. This promises to be a great evening of new and unusual creative work.
